Q: How does one become a member of either the Toronto or the Mississauga Chapters?

A: To become a member of the Mississauga Chapter, all you have to do is show up at one of the events and ensure you get your name placed on the membership list - see either Fr. Neil, Cathy Doherty, or Don Terry to get put on.  You can also contact the parish here at (905) 278-2058 for details.  The Mississauga Chapter's schedule is located on this website at this page - so click here for the schedule and see what we are up to!

As for the Toronto Chapter, you should contact  416 733-3272 and ask for Greg - he will fill you in on all their details

Q:  Is this club open to JUST singles or is it open to others who are not single?

A: The club is open to everyone over 25 - preferably those who are Catholic. The general essence behind the club is one which is open to all those 25 years of age or older, as a forum to get to know one another in a Christian environment.

Q:  How often does the group get together?

A : It depends - it can range from 1 - 3 times a month - it all depends on how the planning meetings go as well

Q ; Who plans the events of the club?

A:  Usually events are planned at a general meeting with event ideas being brought up by the members themselves, then voted on by the entire group.  People who bring up ideas usually are the ones to organize the event.

Q : Is the club open to just Catholics, or to all Christians?

A ;  - Right now we are concentrating on only Catholics, but the jury is still out on that one...this may or may not change.

Q : Is there a membership fee I have to pay?

A :  Not right now - the GTA chapter of the 25+ and Up Club does have a membership fee, but right now we here in the Mississauga Chapter don't...

Q ; What has the average turnout been of people and of what age ranges and gender makeups?

A ;   We haven't been in existence too long - but so far but age ranges have been from 25 to 50, with most in the 25-40 range.  (You try to get the ages of some of these folk..) .  There have been equal numbers of males and females so far.   

For the most part, it's pretty balanced - and we welcome everyone - don't feel you cannot come out if you don't fit into this description - there is no preset formula and everyone is welcome!
